One of the reasons our regulars are so loyal to Fresco is because they feel at home and well taken care of here." Running a phenomenally successful empire aside, making people feel welcome and at home is what this family seems to do best - a talent made obvious during Private Air's visit. After introductions, it didn't take long for the conversation and laughter to start flowing as freely as the wine. A knowing waiter delivers a pen and a blank guest check to Anthony - clearly aware the restaurateur prefers to take the order himself when hosting a meal, bottles of the house red sporting jaunty labels with the family's image are opened, glasses are filled, and plate after plate of amazingly delicious food begins to appear. Between Marion urging the photography team to eat before their food grew cold, Elaina sharing photos, and Anthony pouring the wine, it was easy to forget one was at one of Midtown's busiest restaurants; the entire scene could be taking place in one of the family's homes – precisely the comfortable, welcoming effect the Scottos strive for. "We started opening the restaurant on holidays because our family is so big it just made sense to be here where we had the room," Marion explains. "Before long though, we had a huge reservation list and Fresco's became a holiday tradition not just for us, but for a lot of families." "We do whatever we can.
