And designing the best of the best is what they did with a complete understanding of what is most precious not only in fabric, but in other natural materials such as leather and inlayed wood that suggest a delicacy of interior rarely found anywhere else. Modern furniture design also was instrumental and cued the experts in preparing the rear passenger seats to their elevated positions with butter-soft Arctic white leather seats and smoked cherry wood trim that encases it everywhere. Bamboo is also used in the car's interior, again with mother-of-pearl inlay marquetry in a floral pattern. Even the trunk compartment reflects the elegant treatment of white leather accompanied by Arctic white carpeting. Just in case of a little rain, two parasols are elegantly held in place by white leather on the roof of the trunk as well. e cherry blossom tree motif has additionally been hand-painted onto a selected area of the Serenity's exterior. e entire fabulous and refined automobile graces the showroom floor and stands as a stark reminder to us of not just pure elegance, but of a history lesson of the Orient, and of automobiles, as well as a lesson in current day craftsmanship, and why the impossible can become possible. is then, is the symbolic meaning of the cherry blossom: it is greeted each spring with euphoria and ceremony in many Oriental cultures in particular. It symbolizes power, hope, and transience, but never without the rejuvenation that follows. is is Serenity.
