less. Green roof elements soften the silhouette and
improve insulation. Cross ventilation is planned, not
guessed at. e landscape is water-wise and restores
native character, which cools the ground plane and
keeps the house feeling rooted. Materials are locally
and regionally sourced, from stone to oak to patinated
metal, so the work belongs to the place.

rooms open toward horizon and light, then slide to
broad terraces that are shaded and usable. Private
rooms pull back into cooler zones and frame tighter
compositions of sky and rock. Volumes step with
