BEST PRACTICES
FOR INVESTORS
TO USE IN
VOLATILE MARKETS
P
rior to the results of the US presidential election, many
considered the stock market to be volatile. Translation:
no one had a clue of which way the market would turn
regardless of who took office, even though the US
enjoyed a seven-year bull market run up to that point.
Unfortunately, this fear of volatility is real, causing some investors to
resort to panic mode, switching investments and selling when they
should be buying. is fear also affects investors who know deep
down that markets are inherently cyclical, but who may also panic
and sell when stocks begin to slide. But by implementing some basic
best practices, investors may be able to lose less sleep and enjoy a
rewarding experience across the full market cycle.
