PRIVATE AIR NEW YORK While New York and the east coast may be slowing rousing itself from the long winter; for me, spring can't come soon enough. As February melts – literally and figuratively – into March, I can't help but find myself daydreaming about warmer, longer days and the soon-to-be-had ability to trade nights spent in front of the fire for evenings spent under the stars. Given my penchant for summer, when Private Air was invited to spend the weekend in Vero Beach, I jumped at the opportunity to sate – at least temporarily - my spring fever at Windsor Florida. A beautifully sprawling, gracious community with deeply rooted southern charm; Windsor is also the home of the annual Windsor Charity Polo Cup, a brilliant star in Florida's social calendar. Co- chaired by Salvatore Ferragamo and the Honorable Hilary Weston, the event brought the sport's most illustrious players together for an exciting day full of polo, fabulous food and notable wine to benefit the important, worthy work of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson Research and the Alzheimer & Parkinson Association. For me, a weekend cheering on the players, admiring the ponies, supporting a great cause and doing it all under the warm, Florida sun was an ideal way to chase away winter's chill – despite the "nor'easter" that heralded the start of March in New York! As we wait out the last of winter before being able to welcome those first, balmy spring days, I hope this issue of Private Air New York gives you a little summertime inspiration – it certainly did for me. Cheers! Gina Samarotto Editor in Chief Private Air New York EDITOR'S LETTER
