Celebrating the work created by such a
creative – albeit accidental – collaborative,
Paul Kasmin Gallery is pleased to
announce their forthcoming exhibition,
L'Impasse Ronsin – an exhibit celebrating
the work produced in the enclave.
L'Impasse Ronsin will run from October
27 through December 23, 2016 with a
private preview scheduled for October
26th from 6pm to 8pm. Featuring the
work of its local artists, the installation
designed to embody the historic spirit of
L'Impasse Ronsin.
e free flowing, convivial environment
of L'Impasse Ronsin has never been
adequately articulated in the history of
20th century art, but with sprawling artist
communities thriving in Beijing, Berlin,
Brooklyn, London, Los Angeles, Mexico
City, etc., it's story has never been more
relevant. A comprehensive publication
with newly commissioned texts, extensive
archival images and a selection of
interviews conducted by renowned scholar
Adrian Dannatt, will accompany the
exhibition.
