Steeped in chic and swaddled by miles of pristine beaches, the Hamptons and summer in New York go together like white linen and cold chardonnay. From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Monday, New York's social scene heads east to their respective beachside compounds, eager to partake in the myriad high profile rounds of tennis matches, pool parties, equestrian events and cocktail hours the season brings. Indeed, if you find yourself in the city from June through September, this would be the perfect opportunity to score a great table at Per Se or an opening at Sally Hershberger (assuming Sally herself hasn't headed for the ocean). Starting midday ursday and lasting through late Sunday evening, Manhattan is a far more attainable oyster than usual… everyone else is at the beach. While the most seasoned of the seasonal have homes on the Island, there are those urban sun lovers who have yet to land their perfect oceanfront escape, those who choose to spend the bulk of the summer across the pond in Europe rather than across the Sound in Long Island, or those who simply want to give the Hamptons more of a test run before committing. For those, there is a new kid in town – a boutique hotel that brings all the charismatic charm of the Hamptons combined with the edgy aesthetics, fine dining and an immaculate level of service Manhattanites long for. While of course the Hamptons are chock full of quaintly charming B&Bs and inns, for those for whom a unique experience and unadulterated luxury are the goals,
