Founded in 1993, David Zwirner is a contemporary art gallery with locations in
New York and London. In 2012, the gallery opened its first European location in an
18th-century Georgian townhouse in Mayfair, London's historic fine arts district.
In 2013, expansion continued with a newly constructed 30,000 square-foot, five-
story building on West 20th Street in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, just
one block away from the gallery's three spaces on West 19th Street. The concrete
and glass building is designed by Annabelle Selldorf and is the country's first
LEED-certified commercial art gallery.
