Originally developed in collaboration with
the Direction of the Environment of French
Polynesia and first opened at the previous resort,
Le Meridien, the Eco Center Bora Bora is
dedicated to the protection of sea turtles and
other marine life. Under the guidance of lead
biologist Erica Bonfanti, guests can participate
in guided tours, educational activities, and
hands-on experiences such as preparing meals
and feeding sea turtles. Unique programs allow
guests to shadow a turtle caretaker, gaining a
deeper understanding of marine conservation
efforts.
