PRIVATE AIR NEW YORK EDITOR'S NOTE While you're in the air most of the time, like us, we choose to take it to the sea for the cover of this issue. We couldn't resist after seeing Feadship's newest masterpiece, Slice, and I have to say she is a beauty. e 85-meter yacht designed by Studio De Voogt is a game changer. e designers sliced the vessel in half and pushed the halves apart to make room for a strip of glass that runs from bow to stern, allowing natural light to filter through multiple decks. Other striking features include the 10-meter-long pool, spa, and much more but see for yourself (page 48). Please don't fret; we didn't forget our aviation lovers. Continue on to read about Joby's vertical aircraft, a new Airbus helicopter, and even get some tips on how empty-leg flights can be financially beneficial. For those seeking land adventures, there is plenty for you as well in this issue; from watch auctions to top designers to high-end real estate, there is something for everyone. e next time we meet will be in Spring. So have a Happy New Year! Safe Journeys, Regina Russo Editor-in-Chief
